Folliform Natural DHT Blocker Is Changing Lives

At VH Nutrition we have found through our testing and trials that the key method to block DHT is to inhibit the body's ability to absorb Dihydrotestosterone. It is challenging to decrease actual amount generated. However, you can block the receptors that your body has to receive the hormone. By blocking your natural receptors you can begin to prevent hair loss and in a lot of cases regrow your hair to natural healthy levels.

Folliform's Natural DHT Blocking ingredients include Cucurbita Moschata, Saw Palmetto, and other natural potent ingredients like Serenoa Repens. We chose to use only naturally occurring ingredients in their natural form to provide the highest quality product. There are alternatives to Folliform such as NISIM, NuHair, Shen Min, or Hairomega and they can be helpful additives to any dht blocking regimen. A complete list of our supplement facts can be found on by clicking on the label on the top of the page.

DHT Blockers Work. If you want to know read below.

Folliform Natural DHT BlockerThe well studied effects that DHT or Dihydrotestosterone have on your scalp, skin, and body are widely known to cause hair loss and prevent new hair follicles from forming. If you have had the unpleasant experience of losing hair they you know just how much your self esteem can suffer and how aweful that can make you feel. Thankfully we know of a few different approaches to treat hair loss and improve hair follicle health. If your short pattern baldness is infact caused by DHT then there are different treatments that you can use to improve your scalp and skin conditions to foster better hair growth and improve natural hair production. We have had many of our users say that they have hair that feels more full, healthy, and thick than ever before.

How DHT Affects Hair Growth ndrogenetic alopecia is the scientific term for the condition that is created by an increase in DHT it is one of the leading causes of hair loss and it is caused by a simple combination of hormones and genetics. So you are either susceptible to shot pattern baldness or your not. Typically most men will have the conditions that produce baldness over time and most men will have a large influx of DHT by the age of 50. dihydrotestosterone is the hormone that is directly associated with hair loss. Production of DHT begins in the adrenal glands and in the prostate, it is also produced by an enzyme in hair follicles known as 5-alpha-reductase.

DHT exists in both genders and typically its production grows rapidly and more prominent as you get older. Some studies have shown that up to 95 percent of baldness in men is caused by DHT, and it has shown to impact hair growth in females negatively. Clearly a person is either dis-positioned to have baldness or not to and if you suspect that you are one of those people then a DHT Blocker / inhibitor is probably right for you.

Can DHT Production be Prevented? Yes.

DHT production can be prevented through many different methods and it is not a necessary hormone for the body to function so by blocking your ability to production of it you don't have to be concerned about harming your body. There are a few different DHT blocking product types that have shown positive results and here are a few that you can try.

  • There are a few DHT blocking drugs that you can get a prescription for such as Propecia (finasteride) and Avodart. They function by blocking the results of the by chemical called 5-alpha-reductase. Propecia only targets one type of enzyme produced by DHT, while Avodart targets two enzymes.
  • Shampoo DHT Blockers can scrub the scalp and erase some of the DHT and block enzyme producing DHT. The active elements in DHT blocker shampoos are typically zing and a form of Trichogen complex.
  • Natural Supplements like Bets Sitosterols, Saw Palmetto, Pumpkin seed oil, nettles, pygeum and emu oil also work very well and are safe alternatives to prescription medications. They have beneficial heath effects as well such as improved mood and are typically a better option for women.

How Does DHT Affect the Body?

A lot of people think that gradual hair loss is the effects of losing hair in chunks or pieces. This is actually quite rare, but it is normal for the average person to offload around 40 to 210 hairs in a single day. While rapid hair loss is possible and does happen the most common cause of "hair loss" is the lack of ability to grow new hair.

What DHT does is cause your hair and scalp to become unhealthy and as such it shrinks and causes the hair follicles to become minimized. If you are producing a lot of 5-alpha-reductase then the new hair follicle cells (or in your lesser known sebaceous glands) then you accidentally produce more of the enzyme that is transforming your testosterone into the dreaded DHT. Then DHT connects to other weaker cells in hair and begins to cause the blood to flow slowly. This decrease in blood flow means less nutrients, oxygen, vitamins, and other essential minerals that contribute to healthy hair. This loss of nutritients means you will product slower growing, unhealthier hair.

As time goes by and the DHT remains untreated in each new cycle of hair growth the DHT makes is harder and harder for new hair to grow. Overtime, you will cease to produce hair in the region where the DHT has lingered.

It Is Important To Talk to a Health Professional

Remember that before you engage in any nutritional health supplement regimen to talk to your doctor, or primary care physician. If you feel that your DHT production is exceptional or extreme then taking a prescription may be right for you. Learning about what is causing your hair loss from a dermatologist might be helpful as well to learn which products you can take to battle androgenic alopecia.

Why Use an Estrogen Blocker?

Men who are over the age of 40 and men with higher body fat concentrations are typically in a state of hormone imbalance known as Andropause. This means there is a significant decline in natural testosterone production and a rise in the body’s estrogen production. The effects of too much estrogen production and absorption in men include:
  • General fatigue
  • Higher stress levels
  • Muscle loss and weakness
  • Decreased appetite
  • Increased abdominal fat
  • Decreased metabolic rate
  • Increases in subcutaneous fat ( giving the body a soft appearance)
  • Lower sex drive
  • Lower sperm count and erectile dysfunction
  • Mood swings and depression
  • Growth of unwanted male breast tissue (gynocomastia)
As you can see unwanted estrogen can lead to a host problems, but there are solutions out there. If you feel that you struggle from any number of these symptoms then you can choose from a few different options:

Prescription Anti-Estrogen Drugs, Descriptions, and Side Effects

These include Nolvedex (tamoxifen), Arimidex (anastrozol) and others. These drugs fall into a classification of products called aromatase inhibitors. They actively slow or stop the transformation of testosterone to estrogen by blocking aromatase (an enzyme) from creating the unwanted conversion. These drugs are commonly prescribed for combating breast cancer in women and gynocomastia cases in men. There are side effects however including mood swings, fatigue, joint pain, and sleep problems. These products are also of course only available by prescription from a physician.

Natural Estrogen Blockers and Aromatase Inhibitors

If you choose to stop the estrogen conversion naturally you can avoid the cost and any unwanted side effects associated with the prescription products. There are many herbal options that been used in eastern medicine for hundreds of years to address the estrogenic symptoms. Here are a few that have been used in the formulation of EstroVoid’s anti-estrogen formula.
  • Tonkat ali (Eurycoma longifolia) – this powerful has been shown to raise plasma testosterone levels and increase sperm count in men with erectile and libido problems. Also taken to increase muscle mass and vitality.
  • Rhodiola – (Rhodiola Rosea) this adoptogenic herb battles fatigue symptoms and improves blood flow, mental alertness, concentration and helps boost immunity
  • Cordyceps (Ophiocordyceps sinensis) - increases ATP production and immunity, as well as lowering estrogen levels in men.
  • Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) – used in Indian Ayurvedic medicine to increase free testosterone levels and reduce estrogen absorption, resulting in increased athletic performance and sexual desire.
  • Pomegranate (Punica granatum) – Resent research has shown that pomegranate extract acts as a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM). – which means its molecules fit into estrogen receptors in the body’s cells but unlike estrodiol hormone they create no response.
